Japanese people love a change of a season and natural momentary brightness more from ancient times. In the rich sensitivity having produced, the tradition color of Japan has breathed in the traditional crafts. This theme is Nanbu-shikon-zome Dyeing which inherits the traditional techniques. The graceful purple, “murasaki” in Japanese, of Nanbu-shikon-zome is derived from the murasaki plant which has become an endangered species. Now, revival of the Nanbu-shikon-zome by wild murasaki is tried.
